"This new name, with of course a new fresh look, better suits who we are and what we stand for," explains chairman Ellen Kok, "namely small campsites and accommodation of high quality in green surroundings, where our guests find peace, attention and energy. The new website with more options is also much more in line with the search and booking behaviour and needs of our current and future target groups. Incidentally, Vekabo will continue to exist as an association name for our members and partners. But for the guest it will henceforth be In het Groen."
Supply and demand comes together on Inhetgroen.nl
Visitors will find inspiration for a holiday in green on the new website www.inhetgroen.nl. Such as about interesting regions, staying overnight at a farm or on holiday with small children. Of course, the website also features the entire range of more than 700 affiliated small campsites, holiday homes, Bed & Breakfasts and group accommodations throughout the Netherlands and abroad. You can also search for available campsites or accommodation in a specific period. Something which today's guests need and which offers owners of small campsites and accommodations relief and opportunities. Supply and demand are thus brought closer together.
Families with small children
Besides seniors, In het Groen will focus more on families with small children. "This target group is increasingly interested in a holiday at a small campsite or small-scale accommodation in a green or rural setting," Kok observes. "We are now responding to this."
